OUTWOOD ACADEMY, WAKEFIELD

This project consisted of a two-storey structure and included a pedestrian footbridge.

Shipley Structures were contracted to manufacture and install 75 tonnes of structural steelwork and were also responsible for the landing of metal decking and installation of pre-cast concrete stairs.

The pedestrian footbridge, which is around 18m long, was delivered to site as a part-welded, part-bolted structure and spanned between the new building and an existing structure.
